Mmmm, breakfast!

I have made a super tasty crunchy müsli!
As soon as you start making your own you'll probably never ever eat supermarket cereals again.

 Homemade crunchy müsli

5 dl oatmeal
100 g almonds
2 dl sunflower seeds
1 dl whole linseeds
0,5 dl raw sugar
2 dl water
5 tablespoons neutral oil (not olive oil)

Cut the almonds and put them in a bowl together with
oatmeal, sunflower seeds, linseeds and sugar. Stir.
Heat the oven to 200 C. Mix water with oil in a separate
smaller bowl and then pour it over the mix of oatmeal etc. Stir around.
Pour the mix in a large roasting pan and put in the
middle of the oven for 20-30 minutes. Take the pan out for at least three times
and stir to be sure it is roasted everywhere.
Let it cool and then put your homemade crunchy müsli in a clean glass jar.
Serve with milk or yoghurt.
Mmmm!

Take chances

"Take chances, take a lot of them. Because honestly, no
matter where you end up and with whom, it always ends up
just the way it should be. Your mistakes make you who you
are. You learn and grow with each choice you make.
Everything is worth it. Say how you feel, always.
Be you, and
be okay with it."

No more colours!

Right now, this is how I want my home to look! Even though you see colours, colours and again colours in all stores and interior decoration magazines I just feel for a classic and elegant look in my apartment. To also mix designer furniture with for example Ikea is a great way to get a contemporary and a balanced look.

White high gloss combined with dark wood feels clean and is perfect for the kitchen!

Colours are fun but in the end I always get back to beige, brown, white and black.
What do you prefer?

Celebrity Home: Jennifer Aniston

Ambiance has a new label: Celebrity Homes. Because I always want to know what it looks like in stars's private homes - it says a lot about the person and could be a perfect way to get new ideas.

First out is Jennifer Aniston and her house in Beverly Hills.

Midnight in Paris

If you haven't yet seen the latest Woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris - do it! The story is funny but most of all I appreciated the style!

Rachel McAdams looked casual chic in every scene.

Visionboard

Many thoughts, ideas, goals and wishes? Create a visionboard!

Collect all your inspiration sources in pictures, it's easier to find the right way to acheive your goals if they are visual compared to dreams just written in words.

It could look like this!

A new RUE out!

Yeyyy! A new issue of the online magazine RUE is now out! Plenty of lifestyle inspiration; for both you and your home!

I especially liked the interview with Kendall Wilkinson and the photos from her stylish home.

Wilkinson's dining room with the wooden table and the Philippe Stark's Ghost chairs makes
a perfect match - the different materials creates an eclectic look.

Pimp your furniture

A year ago I bought a sideboard from Ikea on a flea market. I have re-painted it but I'm not really satisfied of the result, it could be more fun with another colour and maybe I'll change the knobs. I think it's a little better now than before though.

In need of inspiration

Last Friday I didn't give you any Four Friday Favourites post. Lately I' ve found it hard to find inspiration to the Friday posts so that's why I'll try to take a break from them and instead get more motivated to update the blog with posts that feels right for the moment.

The first thing I did in order to get inspiration - Online shopping for new books!

Other books I'd probably buy another day are
