Inspiration Bookshelves

Check out these bookshelf sideboards. Even though it could be more practical to have high bookshelves, the lower ones give the room more space. With a little help from lamps, art, flowers etc. and it will immediately result in a cozy athmosphere.

Four Friday Favourites

I have a sideboard in oak half painted in white. It has been standing in the middle of the room for almost a year now, looking at me waiting to get finished. I am thinking of maybe paint it in another colour.. just can't decide which one. I have checked different options on internet this week so my Four Friday Favourites are as follows:

Four Friday Favourites

Oh no, this week I TOTALLY forgot to give you my Four Friday's Favourites! But no worries, here it is - one day too late, sorry!

It has been sunny and warm the whole week and I have a few ideas for my balcony but as always I can't decide whether I want to keep it minimalistic in only white, black and grey or if I should go crazy with coulours. Take a look at these nice balconies and terraces and get some inspiration!

Curls!

When my hair feels messy and awful because of its unruly curls I try to find inspiration at internet by searching on pics of celebrities with beautiful curly hair. My favourite right now is the Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. Her hair is voluminous and has perfect curls.

I am back from my fabulous vacation. Unfortunately at home there is a lack of sun and high temperatures.. Inspiration White and Blue

The view from the sunbed during my hard days in the sun at the roof top includes the swimmingpool and some plants in giant cobalt blue pots against white walls. My first thought was related to those Greek white washed houses with blue doors, built closely to each other. White and blue is such a timeless color combination and it always works. For example white and blue Ming vases are a perfect extra detail in your home, especially when mixed with mordern furniture.
